Some roofers offer an additional algae resistance warranty for this type of roofing, I believe. Don’t worry about it being asymmetrical because it has an architectural beauty that I see.

Soo Eaton
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00281502594025337877noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6730377174053866785.post-39510047378386878232013-03-02T17:47:35.606-05:002013-03-02T17:47:35.606-05:00Thanks Otis. I used a 40 year dimensional shingle, CertainTeed brand I believe they were. One of these days I should really post the final pictures and video so people can see the finished product! The Book Nuthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08742929699209017621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6730377174053866785.post-47502532662095154902013-02-28T09:47:41.514-05:002013-02-28T09:47:41.514-05:00You did the trusses so well! By the way, what shingles did you use for this roof?

Otis Kunkle
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13270562291778352326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6730377174053866785.post-67796136679598061262012-07-02T11:42:48.212-04:002012-07-02T11:42:48.212-04:00It's a good thing that you've decided to r...It's a good thing that you've decided to replace your flat roof, Andy. I'm pretty sure your house will look good after the installation is done. What type of shingles would you use? This particular video was taking three snapshots every minute. I then use Windows Movie Maker to compile them into a video. I mounted the camera up on a telephone pole next to my house! My wife was a bit nervous about me climbing up there! :)The Book Nuthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08742929699209017621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6730377174053866785.post-75493960413188046262011-08-22T15:24:50.174-04:002011-08-22T15:24:50.174-04:00That framing is a thing of beauty to behold.
